Personal Statement of Sarah Baker

 

Sarah Baker has currently completed three quarters of her Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix Online.  She will combine this degree with her previous degree, Bachelor of Social Work from Temple University.  She hopes to finalize her rewarding degree with great knowledge and skill in at the beginning of the year 2006.

 

            The following is a list of Sarah’s future goals and aspirations:

 

Currently: June 2005

Age 30

• Sarah will complete EDCT560 without jumping off a bridge!
• Sarah will give birth to a healthy boy in September.
• Sarah will complete renovations on her newly purchased home.
• Sarah will continue pursuing her degree at UOP.

 

1 Year: June 2006

Age 31

• Sarah will graduate from UOP with her Master’s Degree and be present at graduation.
• Sarah will advance her standing within her current company.
• Sarah will raise her beautiful boy with love and care.
• Sarah will continue to teach riding lessons.

 

5 Years: June 2010

Age 35

• Sarah will continue to provide exemplary services to juvenile’s in need through her employment.
• Sarah will create Adult Education Training for foster parents to assist them in better providing for children in need.
• Sarah’s baby boy will be going to school and she will have time to pursue her doctorate degree.

 

10 Years: June 2015

Age 40

• Sarah will own a consulting firm.
• Sarah will spend more time with her family and loved ones.
• Sarah will continue to grow as an intellectual human utilizing her skills learned through education (especially EDCT560) and daily activities.
• Sarah’s baby boy will now begin to like girls (hopefully) and at that time will be locked in his room for the rest of his life!

 

 

 

15 Years: June 2020

Age 45

• Sarah will continue her dreams and aspirations from previous years and only hope to expand upon her prior knowledge and skills learned.
• Sarah will continue to keep her son away from those in love with him and those which he admires to protect him.

 

Future after 15 Years: 2021+

Age 45+

• Sarah still wants to expand her knowledge, as all educators do.
• Sarah continues to spend more time with her family and loved ones and hope that everyone is healthy.
• Sarah’s “baby” boy will be a teenager (aka hermit with pale skin from lack of sun) entering the exciting world of manhood.
