About me

Born: May 5,1986. From: Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England. Insturment: Bass guitar. Vitals: Brown eyes, Brown hair, 6ft tall. Since doing my GCSE's at Lord Williams's school in june 2002, my life has become more active. Started playing bass guitar in jan 2003 and now i love playing my bass and now i want to turn it into a career. i did attend Oxford and Cherwell college in Thame, Oxfordshire where i was studying motorsports engineering but if i get the money together i want to go to a bass college. I have done a few gigs, but these 1 the one's i most enjoyed. My first was on the 11th of July 2003 at Oxford and Cherwell college and i played with some of the staff there. My second was on the 29th of Oct 2003 and again at college but this was with my band "None of the above", i have recorded with them as well. My 3rd gig was on the 24th of April 2004 at the Princes Risbrough British Royal Legion hall with a one-off band called "Open all hours", also i did a couple of songs with Charlie Thomas from Azrael and at the end of the night. Me, Charlie and two members from Protenal Demise did a cover of Metallica's "For whom the bell tolls". My 4th was on the 27th of August in the marquee in Chinnor and this was with me and my mates band "Curfew". The hardest gig i have played is on the 10th of September 2005 when i played a gig for my best mate who died of cancer. My influences are Metallica, Pantera, Iron maiden, Black sabbath, Guns n' roses, in fact most classic rock bands. my idols are Jason Newsted from Voivod Cliff Burton former Metallica bassist Tom Araya from Slayer and Rex Brown of Pantera cause i like the style they play and the hard bass lines they come up with. I have recently got into BMXing and i won the Douglas Bomford memorial trophy at college and currently in two bands Pyre (www.myspace.com/pyre) and The Southpaw Jinx (www.thesouthpawjinx.com).
