Sales
Revenue is generated from the following:
* Farm Fresh - during harvest season, blueberries are hand picked, sorted, and packaged daily into 5 and 10 lb. boxes
* U-pick - our fields are well maintained to make the picking experience a pleasure for the customer. Pickers come from a wide area of Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio to pick our blueberries and take them home to eat by the handful or use in their favorite recipes. No harmful chemical sprays are used on the blueberries during the berry development and harvest season.
* Commercial - we currently provide our blueberries to two wineries, five IGA/Houchens stores, as well as to the Dale Hollow Lake Resort Park restaurant.
* Plant Sales - we have seven propagation beds with the capacity to raise over 7,000 plantlings. Plant sales range from $5.95 to $12.95 per plant depending on the age and size of the plant.
* We have a current inventory of over $3,000 in potted plants.

Future Possibilities
1. In 2010, due to many requests from customers, we provided frozen blueberries which were hand-picked at the peak of sweetness and ripeness. Of interest, blueberries will keep up to one year in the freezer, and can be used in any recipe that calls for blueberries.
2. Our customers also asked if we had dried blueberries, and other products made from blueberries, i.e., muffins, pies, blueberry pie filling, jams, jellies and preserves for sale. To accommodate future development in this area, the cabin was designed with a focus for a possible store front with a walk-in cooler and freezer and other multi purpose usage.
3. There is a high potential to provide our Good-For-You blueberries and blueberry plants throughout Kentucky and Tennessee.
4. One acre is perfect for other berry type planting with a soil PH level of 5.9. A soil analysis has been conducted on a hillside that is adjacent to the 2003 blueberry field, and results indicate that it would be excellent for grape production.
5. There have also been various requests for Brush Creek Berries to participate in annual State and local fairs and festivals.
