Numerology

Numerology: All you need is the birthdate and the complete name of an individual to unlock all of the secrets that the numbers hold. There are eleven core numbers used in numerology. 1-9, 11, 22. Eleven and 22 are "Master Numbers" and do NOT reduce to a single number.

The first number to obtain is called the "Expression" number. This is the number that describes the talents and attitudes at your disposal in this lifetime, if you choose to develop and use them. This is sometimes referred to as your potential or destiny. Living up to attributes of this number may not be easy, but it is your goal . It is your life's purpose, spiritual mission, and your field of opportunity. Unlike the Life Path number which reads as you ARE, the Expression number more correctly reads as you MUST. To find your Expression Number, simply find the numerical value of your FULL name. Using the chart below, convert your name, as it appears on your birth certificate, into a numerical value. Start with your first name, and reduce the total double digit number into one of the eleven core numbers by simply adding both digits together. If you end up with 11 or 22, do NOT reduce to a smaller number. For example: For example: If the alpha-numeric total for your name was 39, add 3+9 to get 12. Twelve would break down as 1+2. Arriving at 3. Next, find the value of your middle name, reduce it to one of the core numbers. Next, find the value of your last name, reduce its value. Finally add all three numbers together and reduce once more to a core number. This number is your "Destiny" or "Expression" number. What's the number mean? you'll find out in a bit.

The second number to find is your "Life Path" number. This number represents who you are at birth and the native traits that you will carry with you through life. The Life Path describes the nature of this journey through life. Simply convert your birthday in the form mm/dd/yyyy First, add the month, day, and year together to arrive at a total. Next, reduce this four digit number to a single digit. Example: If a person was born on October 23, 1972 (10-23-1972), add the month 10 to the day 23 plus the the year 1972 arriving at a total of 2005. Then add the digits in 2005 arriving at the Life Path number 7.

The third number to obtain is called your "Soul Urge" number. This number is made up from the vowels (a, e, i, o and u) in your full birth name just as it is recorded on your birth certificate. The sum of all of these letters are converted to numbers, and reduced to a single number or a master number. This number denotes what you value most regardless of Life Path (what you are from birth) and expression (what you will become in life). The letter "Y" is also a vowel when there is no other vowel in a syllable (for eg: Lynn or Carolyn) and when it is preceeded by a vowel and sounded as one sound (for eg:Hayden). The letter "W" is treated as a vowel when it is preceeded by a vowel and produces a single sound (for eg: Bradshaw)

The fourth number to find is called the personality number. The personality number in numerology represents that part of you that other people see before they get to know you well. It may or may not be a true image. The consonants in your full birth name give you this number. Use the number chart to find the alpha-numeric value of each name individually. (first, middle, and last) Reduce the sum of each name by adding each digit of the final number together until a single digit or master number is reached (11,and 22 are Master numbers) Once all three numbers are reduced, add the three numbers together and reduce that number once more.

Deep inside, you long to create something that will have a lasting impact on the world. Whether it is a political movement, a business, or a philosophy, you have a strong inner drive to manifest something of major importance.
Whether you know it or not, you possess great power within your being. You were born with this power in a latent state, but on some level you were aware of it. Early in life, this power manifested itself as an awkwardness and a discomfort inside of you. Your self image has always been one of contradictory extremes: on one hand you sensed your uniqueness and potential; on the other you may have felt insecure and perhaps even inferior. This paradox has caused waves of self-doubt and lack of confidence. But it also is a powerful generator of energy that, when combined with the higher characteristics of the 22, can become a dynamic and unrelenting force. In order to channel such great power, you need a noble goal for which to aim. This dangerous and egocentric attitude is sometimes even extended to family members who you may seek to keep under your thumb.
Your challenge, once you have begun to use your true gifts, is to remain humble in the face of your significant accomplishments. You perform best when your domestic foundation is stable and supportive; it is very important to have a partner who shares your dreams and has high degree of strength and independence to keep up with your drive. Challenges somehow draw the best out of you. Your human qualities - creativity, humility, understanding, and compassion - increase with the level of your performance. Therefore, commitment to excellence is central to your success and inner development.
