Have you heard? Paul is DEAD!!

Now I know you're thinking "WHAT?!?! Paul isn't dead!!" But he is, and if you were around in the 60s or if you are just a huge bealtes fan who has carefully studied all their albums and the clues they left for us, you would know that he is, in fact, dead. Your first clue is in the picture right above. In this picture you see John looking at the camera. He is thinking "Paul is dead so why is he here?" Ringo is laying his head on John's shoulder because he is sad Paul is dead. Paul is pointing at John and Ringo saying "Hey man, they are saying I'm dead." George is standing there with a disgusted look on his face thinking, "Well...I sure wouldn't have been caught dead in that pink suit..." Ok so he's not really dead...but there is a story and a lot of clues to support the story, and they will all be documented here! So go get a cold drink and some chips and get comfortable because the hoax is about to be exposed!

The Story

Ok so the story goes like this. One day back before the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1967, Paul was riding his bike and was tragically hit by a car. He was so disfigured by the accident that nobody but the other three Beatles could identify the body. This meant that Ringo, George, and John were the only ones who knew that Paul was dead. They decided to keep it a secret and find a look alike replacement for Paul. They held auditions and finally went with a man named Billy Shears, who is introduced to us in track one of the Sgt. Pepper album. The Bealtes, feeling strong obligations to their fans, decided to place vague clues throughout their ablums so only their fans would discover the truth of Pauls death!

Now just by reading this you can see how stupid it is. However this was actually taken very seriously by some. So seriously that Time Magizine sent a reporter to interview Paul. Paul denied he was dead... HOWEVER...It is said (I've never seen the magazine and I was not alive during this time...I was also dead! HA!) that Paul is pictured on the cover of the magazine, and if held up to the light at the right angle, a car advertisement on the back side of the page shows through, depicting a car driving right through his big ole head! Anyway, Below is a list of some of the clues placed on various albums starting with Sgt. Pepper.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Ok the biggest clue on this album is the cover. If you look closely, you will notice the word "Beatles" written out in flowers. Below this there is an outline of a base guitar (Paul's instrument) in yellow flowers. What you are looking at is supposedly a freshly coverd grave. And yes you guest it, its Paul's grave. The second clue on the cover is Paul...uhh...Paul's imposter standing in the middle in the blue uniform. Paul, in this picture, is noticably taller than the other three Beatles. Now, if you pay attention to the cover's of earlier albums, Paul is the same height as both John and George. Paul is taller on this cover because it's not Paul! The third clue on the cover is the hand which is held directly above "Paul's" head. This is a symbol of death.

Another clue is, as mentioned above, the first song on the album which introduces every one to the replacement, Billy Shears. "The singer's going to sing a song/and he wants you all to sing along/so let me introduce to you/the one and only Billy Shears."

Another clue is during the song A Day In The Life. This song discusses a car wreck which is supposedly Paul's. Also, in the song She's Leaving Home, the girl is leaving home at 5 in the morning, which is when Paul died.

Aparently there is also a message on the vinyl record that, if played backwards, seems to say "Will Paul Come Back as Superman?" Interesting huh?

Magical Mystery Tour

The first clue on this album is also its cover. Like the Sgt. Pepper album, Paul also has a hand over his head on this album. Now, its hard to tell who is who on this cover, but John is the Walrus cause he says he is in the song "I am the Walrus," and Ringo is the animal on the right (your right) cause I'd recognize that nose anywhere, so Paul is the one on the left, and George's hand is over Paul's head.

At the end of the song "Strawberry Fields Forever" John can be heard mumbling something. If you listen closely it is said you can hear him saying "I buried Paul." Actually he is really saying "Cranberry Sauce," however, that makes about as much sense as him saying "I burried Paul," so who knows.

Yellow Submarine

This Album has many of the same songs that are on Magical Mystery Tour so I won't go over those clues again. The only other clue I know of on this album is on the cover. There is another hand held over Paul's head.

The Beatles (AKA The White Album)

The White Album has several clues leading listeners to the realization of Paul's death. The first clue I will talk about is in the song "Glass Onion." In this song, John sings the lyrics "I told you bout the Walrus and Me man/You know that we're as close as can be man/Well here's another clue for you all/The walrus is paul." As Cliff Clavin would say, "Its a little known fact..." that the walrus is the Scandanavian animal symbol for death. So John is saying Paul is dead. Also, it is said that the term "glass onion" is used in England referring to a coffin. Scary....

Another clue on this album is at the end of the song "I'm so Tired." At the end of the song there are lyrics being played backwards, and if reversed they seem to say "Paul's a dead Man. Miss him, MISS HIM!!" If you'd like to hear these lyrics please visit this Paul is Dead!!!! website. This is where I have retrived some of my information.

Abbey Road

Even when I was just a little gal and could hardly count to ten I knew that this album cover meant Paul was dead. This is the most famous example of the hidden clues to Paul's death. As you can see, Paul is walking barefoot across Abbey Rd. In front of him is John dressed in white. He represents the priest or an angel or some heavenly thing. Next is Ringo, who represents the undertaker. Then we have the dead man and benind him is George, representing the grave digger.

Another clue is the beetle car parked behind them. Aparently on the license plate the initials "LMW" appear, which stands for "Linda McCartney Weeps."

Let It Be

Apparently there are not supposed to be any more clues on this album because by now it was known world wide that Paul was dead. He denide these reports viciously but after reviewing all the clues he was finally convinced that he was dead. Anyway, some say that there is one clue on this album cover. If you notice, John, Ringo, and George are all pictured in front of a white background. Paul, however, is pictured in front of a red background. This is symbollic of his bloody death.

Well after reviewing all these clues I am now convinced Paul is dead. For those of you who don't believe, just ask him yourself! He'll tell you!
