Well qualifying for Watkins Glen was rained out. They're starting according to points which puts the Gordon twins on the front row, and Junior is starting 3rd. He was in the top 10 in both practices today..hopefully he will have a good race. They've gone through a lot lately and had rotten luck ruin a terrific run last week. And all because of one extra lap that should never have happened. Stupid NASCAR and their stupid rules. Gordo always does back to back wins, he can't win a race without winning the very next one, stupid fucker. He's been fast all weekend too...yay!! I wanna puke.

The last 2 weeks
The past couple of weeks have been so hard. Dale Jr was in an accident and got 2nd degree burns on his legs, neck and chin. What started out as a fun weekend of road racing turned into a time that I will never forget. We could have lost Dale that day, and it kills me to even think about it. In the two NASCAR races since then, Junior has had to use two backup drivers....Martin Truex Jr and John Andretti. I think they did a great job considering what they had to work with. The cars weren't very good at all. Hopefully Junior can do Indy himself but if not his fans will understand. We just want him to feel better, but it's been tough lately.

Haven't kept up much lately. Hasn't been much to talk about regarding Junior, well nothing good anyway. I don't wanna go on and on about how much I hate Hendrick and how sick I am of the 8 team's performance for the last 2 months. That's just beating a dead horse. Maybe when there's something good to talk about I'll been more than willing to write about it, if there's ever anything good to talk about ever again. Right now, doesn't seem like it.

Sunday's race
Well the race was just about a debacle, as I thought it would be. Jeff Gordon won which was such a HUGE surprise since he won the pole and was fastest in every practice. He led 90+ laps out of 110 so it was quite the snoozer. I know one thing, between him and Jimmie Johnson, I'm getting quite tired of the 24/48 show/parade..whatever you wanna call it. I about lose my lunch just thinking about it. Anyway..Junior finished 11th, which I guess wasn't too bad considering that he spun twice and hit the wall..he kinda messed up his car a little but they were able to get it fixed up enough where he could be half decently competitive. But still, this is just not the way I feel that team should be running. Something is wrong or something is missing....Junior claimed that they had a "great" car and he just screwed up...but I didn't see much evidence of them having a great car..as I haven't for the past month and a half. And of course Jimmie Johnson finished 5th and increased his points lead even more. Not that it really matters...gonna all get taken away from him in a little while. Anyways, on to Daytona this weekend...I have a bad feeling about it because Junior won the Daytona 500 so I guess that was his good Daytona race so this one will be his bad race. He seems to do good in one and have some kinda BS happen in the other. Oh well, can't complain I guess..he won the Daytona 500 which was what I always wanted him to do. I'll always have that memory...and I have it taped as well!! Here's hoping for better times ahead!

Quals
Well Junior was ok in practice..he got better towards the end but he was still nowhere near Jeff Gordon. He had the 8th fastest time and when he went out to qualify he was junk as far as I could see. He was way off of Gordon's time...anyway he ended up 20th. That would only be considered ok somewhere like Daytona and Talladega where it's easy to draft to the front. At any other track, especially a road course that's gonna be tough, getting through the traffic at a place like that is hell...and historically, most winners at Infineon start in the top 5-10. Not that I would expect him to win of course, but that team needs something good to happen because they are struggling right now. Tomorrow's practices will tell if Junior will have a good car for the race or not.

Well if any of you out there are NASCAR fans, this is for you. I'm gonna start writing about what happens each race, it's a good way to relieve my frustrations..lol. Dale Jr's team has been stumbling lately, they just can't seem to get their setups right..and meanwhile, Jimmie Johnson is basically lapping the field. Things looked so promising for awhile, but he lost the points lead after a 21st place finish last week at Michigan. Not that being the points leader matters with this new system, but it is nice for bragging rights. Anyway, I'll have more to report after qualifying tomorrow. Junior isn't known for his road course skills, but hopefully he can pull a rabbit out of his hat and get a good finish at Infineon. That team needs a good solid run where they're actually up there leading laps and passing cars, instead of either fighting for the lucky dog pass or trying to stay on the lead lap. Good luck tomorrow Junior, qualify up front! And don't worry about what your jealous female fans are saying about Kortnie..bring her to the races and show her off..she's beautiful!
