The Cold War |
The COLD WAR From 1945 to 1991, the United
States and the Soviet Union engaged in a ideological struggle. This struggle led to many conflicts
throughout the world. Both sides viewed each other as a deadly enemy. Each U.S. President had employed strategies
to combat the threat of Soviet expansion and influence. Some presidents were
more successful than others. The object of this web quest is to analyze and
assess the decisions of the Cold War Presidents. |
