Just a small list of questions that are frequently asked on the forums.

Does pet intimacy affect stat growth?

    No, it does not.

Does having a pet in an enhancement slot affect stat growth?

    No, stat growth is random.

Why do some pets grow intimacy slower than others?

There are a couple of things that could affect this.  The higher your charm, the faster a pets intimacy will rise.  Also if the pet is from the wild and is not reset it's intimacy will grow slower.  If the same pet is reset, the intimacy will grow faster.

How do I know how a pet will grow once I reset it?

First you must know the element and creatures stats.  These can be found out from the pet info sticky on the forums (Pet Info Sticky).  The elements each have different stat majors, for example fire's stat is strength.  Then the creatures have a stat major, for example crabs major is constitution.  So when you put them together in a fire crab, the elements stat comes first, then the creatures stat.  So the growth pattern would be str/con.

At what level would I know if my reset pets stats are growing well?

The very minimum level would be 9, but I highly recommend that you give it more levels to decide.  Pets tend to have growth spurts and random additions to stats that will greatly affect it's growth pattern early on.  I would recommend waiting till level 15-19.

Why does my MP keep dropping?

This is because you have too many pets.  Pets feed on your MP.  The more pets you have, the more MP you need to feed them all.  If a pets intimacy however is at 100, it will need less MP to eat.  Another way to help stop your MP from dropping is to add intelligence to your character.  Intelligence affects your MP regeneration rate, the higher your int the more MP you regenerate.  So in turn, the more int you have, the more pets you can sustain without losing MP.  However for characters that don't need to pump intelligence, the more effecient way to stop this from happening is to sell or abandon a pet.
