Mussolini’s Italy

After Mussolini left the socialist party he started his own paper Il Popolo d'Italia.  With which he continued a campaign for war His days as a soldier would end with a mortar landing near him causing him 44 wounds. In 1918 the First World War ended. Mussolini started the fascist party through a meeting of the WWI vets. He took on the old Roman style with his salutes and his uniforms. They didn’t become racist until 1939. On October 29th Mussolini was sworn in to office.
