Vivian's Civil War page!

Hello and welcome to my Civil War page. Here I will be more than happy to tell you about the Civil War. It is a sad but true part of America's history that we must never forget. The soldiers that fought in this war were very young boys; the drummer boys were only fourteen or thirteen years of age. They didnt have comfortable boots for the drummer boys. They had to march a long way, and their feet would start to bleed . Also they didnt have socks and made it even worse. When a soldier or a drummer boy would get shot in the leg or the arm they would have to amputate it. Amputating their body parts had spread diseases because they didn't sterialize the saws that they used. Only the soldiers that were lucky would survive.

       This war took four years for it to be finally over. The Civil War is known as the brother's war because brothers fought against each other, families fought against each other and best friends against their own best friends. This war is known as the bloodiest war of all wars because out of all wars in this war it was the one that the most soldiers died.

This first picture as you can see is a picture of an eagle .I thought it was nice so I decide to put it on this page.	This picture is a picture of a soldier it looks like he is marching or just walking somewhere by himself	This last but not least picture of flags that look like they are wrapped all together. To me this looks like it is symbolising peace and end of war.
