Unfortunately I didn't get to see the entire race because I was working. But I did see the end. I must give Richard Childress Racing credit for their performance this season. Harvick had 3 2nd place finishes in a row, a looked like it would be number 4 if it weren't for Ricky Rudd. And Robby Gordon was running up there, after making up his lap and got spun by Jeff Burton. I can give Burton a little less blame than Rudd because he was on the inside and if your car gets loose you can't do much about it, but they were racing like that for a couple laps, he knew Robby wasn't going anywhere.

As much as I understand tempers flaring when something happens to piss you off, I think things are getting a little out of hand. Hell at Bristol they make a game out of it during the broadcast about what types of anger will be displayed. Granted at Bristol they are usually just gestures of some sort when the field comes around again, but still. In Michigan we have Jimmy Spencer punching Kurt Busch. Whatever happened there, there is no reason to hit someone else. And then last night at Richmond, Kevin Harvick and his team running into Rudd's car and denting it. I have to agree with what Ricky Rudd said, the issue was between himself and Harvick. There was really no reason for either of the crews to be involved. I hope something happens to the crewman who jumped on top of Rudd's car. There is no reason to go near another drivers car, at all.

I guess we will see how this all pans out Tuesday or Wednesday when penalties are announced.
