BANANA FACE PACK
You Need:
1 egg yolk
10ml almond oil
1 ripe banana
Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and mash into a paste using a fork.
2. Apply the pack to your face and leave on for 10 minutes.
3. Gently remove with clean water and gently dry your skin with a soft towel.
4. Go fish for all those compliments!
CUCUMBER FACE PACK
You Need:
1 tbsp instant nonfat dry milk
1/2 peeled cucumber
1 tsp plain yogurt
Method:
Same as above.
LEMON MOISTURISER
You Need:
1 beaten egg yolk
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
Method:
1.Combine egg yolk and lemon juice in a small bowl. 2.Stir with a whisk while adding both oils until the mixture thickens. If it's too thick, add more lemon juice.
3.Rub gently onto dry skin.
GLOSSY EYES
You Need:
Your fave colour powder eyeshadow
Vaseline
Method:
1.Mix both on the back of your hand for a colourful gloss.
2.Apply to your eyelids for a shimmery look.
SUN SOOTHER BATH
You Need:
A pint of milk
10 drops of chamomile oil (health stores)
A bath!
Method:
1.Run yourself a tepid bath and pour in th milk.
2.Now add the chamomile and stir with a spoon.
3.Step into your bath soak until your skin feels calm again.
RELAX BATH
You Need:
1/2 pint milk
2 tablespoons honey
Method:
1.Trickle the honey under the tap as you run your bath.
2.Then pour the milk in.
3.Light some small candles (be careful!) and step in and relax...
SCENTED SACHET
You Need:
4 handfuls of rose petals or lavendar
A 30.5cm by 15cm piece of cotton
A needle and thread
Method:
1.Dry the rose petals or lavendar.
2.Fold your fabric in half (pattern on inside) and sew up 2 sides.
3.Turn the pouch the right way and fill with rose petals or lavendar then dtitch up the remaining side.
4.Pop it in your draw to keep your clothes nicely scented.
FRUIT TEETH CLEANERS
1.Rub a lemon rind on your teeth to remove brown stains. Rinse your mouth thoroughly afterward.
2.OR Clean your teeth with a fresh strawberry. Rub it over and between your teeth.
BREATH FRESHENERS
1.Gargle and rinse with undiluted rose water.
2.Chew a sprig of parsley or watercress.
3.Gently rub your gums and teeth with pine needles.
