First off, welcome to all new players to the very best league out there!!!
We are the wicked cribbage league, and this is a guideline to help you out on your first few games with us :)

To join this wonderful league please click on free sign up located on the top left hand corner of the league page.
Step #1
Choosing your ladder name (pogo and ladder names must match exactly, including any #'s you may have in your name) this saves allot of confusion when reporting a tourney or a ladder loss, and helps all players keep track of who is who.

entering your email address, please ensure that the address is a real address, as allot of times people enter a wrong address, and because of this end up getting removed from the ladder, and you don't want that ;)
Step#3 - ladder bux
ensuring you get as many ladder buxs as possible. you will need them to enter our tourney's. most tourney's cost about 20 buxs to play, but occasionally there are special tourney's held monthly and they will cost a bit more.(ladder buxs is not real money, it's all pretend, for the fun of the game)
Step #4
a few more ways to get more ladder buxs, and an activation code will be sent to your email address(this is why to use correct one) once you receive your code enter it in the box and you are well on your way to play :)
how to play
We play all of our games and tourneys in "Against the Green" located under the intermediate tab, in pogo.
if ever you find you cannot get into against the green using the pogo doors, try one of these doors:
once inside ATG, you are ready to play.
laddering
laddering is a game played by 2 people who agree on a type of game, you are allowed to ladder the same person 3 times a day, not including tourneys. The winner of the match does not need to report, only the loser reports the loss, and to do this you go to main page, and click on report loss. you enter your Ladder Name, your Password, and your opponents name. after that click on report loss.
tourneys
On the left hand side of the page you will see a tourney calendar. this tells you when, where, and what type of tourney will be held at that specific time, and who is hosting it. All of wc's tourneys are held every odd hour est. you will want to click on a tourney you wish to play in and register. to do this you simply ever your ladder name and password and hit register.
all tourneys open 30 min before start time, but if you happen to register before the 30 min, you will need to check in, once the check in opens. to do this you go to the tourney page you registered on and hit teams/check-in, enter your league password and hit check in. to see if you are registered and checked in, click on teams, there will be a yes beside your name.
it is a great idea to always keep the tourney page open through-out the tourney, or until you have been eliminated. as you will have to report your tourney loss there, if you should lose. all tourney loses are reported on the tourney page you signed up for. not on the main page, that is for regular ladder loses.
setting a table
all tables are set the same way depending on the type of game you are playing.

make table private
the game played will be up to the tourney director, and they will tell you what to change it to. you will receive your league password once inside against the green.
ladder/tourney games are never rated, cases ladder keep tracks of your ratings, and this way your pogo rating is not effected.
