« Welcome to Crystyne's Mountain Mayhem » Hey All!!! Well, sufficient time has elapsed since I moved out here to the mountains, and I finally have a moment to tell you about it. I know a lot of you have received some pictures already, but I’ve added some here. I’m not a religious person, but everyday I thank the Powers that Be for allowing me to live in such a beautiful place. I swear, more often than not, I’m speechless at the spectacle that surrounds me. One thing about this place, is that every 3rd person here is from Quebec. You hear French EVERYWHERE. Even when you hear really fluent English, you can still pick up their accent. Sometimes they’re surprised when you start talking to them in French, because they never expect it after having started the conversation in English. Some of them have been here for years. It’s pretty cool to keep speaking French, because I was afraid that I’d lose some of it by being surrounded by Anglos. Thankfully, Phil and I speak it regularly when we don’t want someone to understand what we’re talking about.

It All Starts Here Here is a picture of my humble abode. Not a "King House", but a comfortable place to call home. There's a fireplace in the living room, and the views from every window are fantastic. Gang's All Here!! From left to right, Phil, Dave, Steven (black cap), Kevin, Melodie, and Yohan (blue cap) June 28th Melodie, her boyfriend, Dave, and a guy named Kevin, took an air mattress down Policeman’s Creek. Phil, Steven and Yohan were a ways ahead waiting on the bank to tip them over, but that attempt failed. The second attempt was much more successful. Dave certainly got the brunt of it when Yo lifted the mattress up over his head. There were a lot of laughs that afternoon. Come to think of it, we’re laughing all the time. Gang's All Here!!
