Creating your own Soap is a relaxing hobby, and a useful one! especially when it comes to Birthdays and last minute christmas presents!

On this page i am going to add some of my favourite and most used M&P soap recepies so that i can share them with other soapmakers. Most of my recepies are pretty simple and i dont 'do' measurements, i just judge it as i go, i hope thatyou enjoy these recepies as much as i have!
New recepies will be added regulary, so what can i say but, enjoy and have fun! please feel free to email me with any of your own recepies that you use, or you have any comments about this page etc.
Recepie 1.
UNSCENTED OATMEAL BAR.

INGREDIENTS.

M&P Clear Soap Base. Porridge Oats. Cosmetic Fragrance Oil ( Optional) Cosmetic Colouring ( entirely your choice, i make some bars clear, that looks good!)

METHOD.

    1) Grind your Porridge Oats (i use a potato masher!)

    2) Melt your soap base in the microwave.

    3) Add your fragrance (optional). Use 2-3 drops at most.

    4) Add your colouring ( optional). Use 2-3drops, depending how strong you want the colour to be.

    5) Add your Porridge Oats, you can stir it gently, but you have to work quick, as the soap will start to set quickly!

    6) Pour the soap into your mould.

    7) Allow to set in mould until fully set. If your soap is difficult to get out of your mould, place in fridge for 10-15 minutes, and gently push the back of the mould until soap is released.

    8) Wrap and label your soap. I prefer to put an ingredients list on the soap in case of allergy etc.
