The player that STARTS the game draws her/his first set of cards from the PACK and then looks at the cards and picks the cad for the INITIAL meld. The NEXT round the next player getg which card is the necessary card to be in the initial meld. They play like this taking turns until one player gets to 5000 points and wins the game. Remember this is NTC so no taking the pile EVER.
