The rule of this game is simple. Once you make a Canasta, your next Canasta must be of a higher order (higher number). For example if you make a canasta in 6s (Sixes), your next Canasta must be in 7s (Sevens) or Higher. Just so long as your next Canasta is higher than your first you will be fine. Aces are ranked high for this purpose so they are higher than any other Canasta.This is by each hand, not game. *NOTE If you were to Canasta Aces first then you could not make any other Canastas that hand.
