Tyre Information

Tyre Care

Tyres are best stored in a cool, dark and dry enviroment away from direct sunlight, hig temperature or high voltage machinery.  The life and performance of a competition tyre will be improved if they are "scrubbed in" for a few kilometres before being run at competition speed.

Tyre Fitting

Khumo motorsport tyres are tubeless construction and therefore need to be fitted with extra care to ensure perfect seating of the tyre bead without damage to the rim flange.

The use of suitable tyre fitting machine is strongly recommended. Rims should be carefully checked for cracks, rust or any damage with may prevent an airtight fitment.

Tyres should not be inflated above 40 psi (2.7bar). If the beads do not seat at this pressure, deflate the tyre, rotate the try 90 degrees on the rim and re-inflate to 40psi.

Tyre Pressure

The correct pressure varies according to driver, car and track conditions, it is often a matter of personal preference, but sufficent pressure must always be used to avoid structural damage to the tyre.

Conditions of Use

Kumho motorsport tyres are specially designed and compounded for competition use, no warranty is given due to the exstreme conditions under which the operate.
