Unexpected
Meanwhile…
Outside of Tokyo…
“DAMNIT
NAPA!” Vegeta growled at the much
taller Saiya-jin. “How many times MUST
I tell you? DON’T mess with the course
settings! We are SUPPOSE to be on the
same planet as KAKOROT! Not out
here! HOW- no, WHY did you do
THIS?” The small prince of Saiyajins
took his rage out on a rock. It was
smashed to pieces.
“I’m sorry
Vegeta-sama, I thought this was the right planet. They are very similar.”
Napa scratched his baldhead.
“Big, dumb,
and completely stupid.” Vegeta
muttered.
“Why don’t
we just hop in our pods and fly to the right planet?” Napa asked motioning to the two space pods.
“We WOULD
if the POWER CELLS weren’t BURNT OUT from coming through the ATMOSPHERE!” Vegeta growled punching another rock.
“That’s a
problem.” Napa stupidly commented.
“No,
REALLY?” Vegeta threw with arms up in
that air and let out a steam of curses.
He finally settled down and sat on a rock glaring at Napa. “I doubt this planet even HAS the technology
to fix our pods.” Vegeta muttered.
“Well,
there’s only one way to find out!” Napa
grinned and pointed towards the city in the distance.
Vegeta let
out another stream of curses before standing up and floating into the air a few
feet. “Come on Napa.” He motioned and the two Saiyajin warriors
flew off towards Tokyo.

Usagi and
Chibiusa went back with Mamoru to his apartment to grab their bags before
heading to the Tsukino house. As they
were gathering their stuff Mamoru took Usagi into his room for a brief ‘talk’.
“Usako...
you know I love you, right?” He smiled
down at his cute blonde fiancée.
“Of
course.” Usagi smiled.
“Well, I
don’t think we should get married this June.”
Usagi
stared blankly at Mamoru. “What?”
“I don’t
think we should get married this June.”
He repeated.
Usagi
blinked, anger apparent on her face.
“Mamo-chan, you do realize, it was YOUR idea to get married on my
eighteenth birthday, right?”
“I know,
but-”
Usagi
stopped him. “The church is reserved,
and the invitations are sent, your FAVORITE restaurant is reserved for the
reception. It took weeks, nay, MONTHS
to convince my father, who STILL isn’t happy with me about this whole wedding
and YOU want to call the wedding OFF?” Usagi yelled angrily.
“My boss
says that he got married when he was twenty-one and it was way to soon. Plus, I think you’re too immature to be
married at the moment.”
SLAP!
Mamoru
reached up and touched his throbbing cheek.
“Usako, what was that for?” He
asked.
Usagi was
turning bright red with anger. “MAMORU
CHIBA! I am NOT immature! And your BOSS isn’t going to the KING of the
EARTH in a few years, is HE? And SINCE
WHEN does your BOSS and your WORK matter more than your OWN FINANCEE and DAUGHTER?” Usagi shrieked. She stomped out of the room and grabbed her bags. “Come on Chibiusa, we have to go tell
EVERYONE that there is NO wedding next month.”
She rasped in rage.
Chibiusa
glared at Mamoru who was in the bedroom doorway. She followed her future mother as she stomped out of the
apartment and slammed the door. Usagi
huffed all the way to the elevator and jabbed the down button. The doors opened and they walked in. Usagi stood rigid in the elevator bubbling
in anger.
“HONESTLY!” She blurted out after a moment of
silence. “I RESCUE him from the North
pole after he was BRAINWASHED! I put up
with his AFFECTIONS towards Anne, I let him have his SPACE when I NEEDED him
when the DARK MOON was here, I LET him break several DATES during the whole
Pharaoh 90 thing, I let him INGORE me during the DARK CIRCUS and then I
understood and SUPPORTED him going to AMERICA and THIS is how he REPAYS
ME?” Usagi vented her rage. “I should’ve just STAYED with Prince
Demando! HE wanted to get married!”
Chibiusa
looked up at Usagi in shock as she fumed.
The doors opened and Usagi clomped across the lobby and out on to the
streets.
After ALL I
put up with! Men! Mamoru, I’ve had it with him! I am NOT going back there! Mamoru can kiss my-” Usagi remembered her
daughter was in her presence and wisely stopped what she was saying.
“Mamo-papa
doesn’t act like this in the future.”
Chibiusa quietly mentioned. It
wasn’t the first time that Chibiusa had doubts that Mamoru was her father. The hair wasn’t right, the eyes the wrong
color, but she couldn’t remember exactly what her father looked like. It seemed like there was a mental block to
keep her from remembering what her father was like but she remembered her
mother perfectly. The blue eyes, the
silver hair, the grace.
Chibiusa
sighed and walked beside the fuming Usagi.
Her eyes picked up on a familiar hairstyle. Her eyes widened, as she looked closer and saw who it was and
gasped.
