Most seasons of the Big Brother series has religious aspects to it, namely the people involved in the show.
In the first season of Big Brother, the most notable religious element was the banishment of Karen Fowler. Karen Fowler was voted out, ostensibly, when the audience sympathized with her when she went through a breakdown of sorts on the program, but did not like it when she admitted to wanting a divorce from her husband on live television. It is said that Karen's announcement about wanting a divorce lost her support from the religious communities that were against divorce.

In the third season of Big Brother, Jason Guy was the religious element of the show. Jason is a twenty-five year old videographer from Mobile, Alabama. A born-again Christian, Jason is a big fan of Big Brother. He and fellow housemate Danielle made a secret alliance and went through the entire season without being nominated. He came in third place, losing to Danielle and Lisa. Jason was evicted on Day 78.
Jason, as a born-again Christian, gives speeches around the country on abstinence, evangelism, outreach, and youth. And during the show was vocal regarding these issues.

Season 5 of Big Brother had numerous religious individuals. Adria Okins and Drew Daniel bonded as they love reading the bible together. In fact she leads the study with Drew and talks about Jesus and his dying for us. Both Adria, and her twin sister Natalie are devoute Catholics, as well as Drew.

Season 6 was the first season a Muslim-American was on the show. Kaysar Ridha, an Iraqi immigrant, was a commited Muslim who was subject to religious comment by his housemates. Upon entering the house, Kaysar felt he was singled out because of his race and religion. This, however, did not stop him from praying 5 times a day, and staying true to his values and morals. Kaysar also participated in Big Brother 7: All-Stars, and is considered the most popular houseguest ever, along with Janelle.

Maggie Ausburn, the winner of BB6, was also a commited Catholic. There was an episode during season 6 where Maggie belittled Kaysar'r religion, and held herself up as "the perfect Catholic". Other houseguests disagreed with her comments, saying she was going against her religion by lying, and being deceitful.
