Somewhere there’s a stolen halo
I use to watch her wear it well
Everything would shine wherever she would go
But looking at her now you’d never tell

Someone ran away with her innocence
A memory she can’t get out of her head
I can only imagine what she’s feeling
When she’s praying
Kneeling at the edge of her bed

Later that night, just two days before the 500 Elliot let himself into Gabby’s coach. He saw a dim light coming from the back bedroom and stopped just outside her door listening.

And she say’s take me away
And take me farther
Surround me now
And hold, hold, hold me like holy water

"God, I need your help. I need the strength to let him in. I know he’s the one, I love him but how can I expect him to love me when I’m too scared to tell him, let alone let him touch me like he deserves. I want to be with him but it just so hard. I don’t know what to do."

Elliot quietly slipped into the room and sat in a chair next to her bed. Unaware that he was there, she stood and he reached out pulling her onto his lap, her back resting against his chest. Her head fell back on to his shoulder.

She wants someone to call her angel
Someone to put the light back in her eyes
She’s looking through the faces
The unfamiliar places
She needs someone to hear her when she cries

And she says take me away
And take me farther
Surround me now
And hold, hold, hold me like holy water
Holy Water

"My sweet Angel." He whispered in her ear as his arms wrapped around her waist. He gently kissed her neck and felt her sink back into his arms. He moved his mouth to her ear and placed his hands over hers. He slowly moved both their hands over her ribcage and stomach up to her chest. His mouth never stopped dropping kisses to her neck as his hand pushed hers up so she was cupping her own breast.

Her breathing quickened and he felt her body tense up. "Shh." He lead their hands back down her stomach and over her thighs. When they hit her knees he pushed them back up her thighs and let their fingers brush over the fabric that laid between her legs.

She just needs a little help
To wash away the pain she’s felt
She wants to feel the healing hands
Of someone who understands

And she says take me away
And take me farther Surround me now
And hold, hold, hold me

"Gabby, help me love you."

She took a deep breath then slowly stood turning to face him. She lifted her shirt over her head looking at the floor suddenly aware of his eyes on her. He dropped a kiss to her stomach before standing and removing his own shirt. He pulled her into his arms and both felt the heat of their skin as they stood chest to chest.

He brought his head to hers and massaged her lips with his own. Her hands traveled over his chest and down his stomach stopping at the waist band of his jeans. She started to pull her hands away when he gently pulled them back and helped her undo the button and zipper. She closed her eyes. "I don’t know what to do."

Elliot smiled and ran a hand down her cheek causing her eyes to open. When she did she saw the love shining back in his deep brown eyes. "Let me teach you."

The next morning Gabby woke in Elliot’s arms. "Morning."

"Hi." She said as she looked up at him as he slid up the bed into a more sitting position.

"I was going to go make us all breakfast but I didn’t want you to wake up alone." He dropped a kiss to her forehead. "Are you all right?" He asked as his fingers ran up and down her arm.

Gabby smiled. "Yes, thank you."

"For what?"

"Last night, the past several months, waiting, being you." She paused before meeting his stare. "Elliot?"

"Hmmm."

"I love you."

He smiled and started to talk when Robby pushed the bedroom door open. "Mommy."

"Yeah baby."

"I’m hungry."

She laughed, perfect timing she thought. "Ok, go brush your teeth and I will go make some pancakes." She stood pulling a tee and pair of shorts on, so much for romance she thought. She started out of the room when Elliot stopped her at the door.

"Hey you, I’m not finished here." She turned in his arms and he kissed her gently. "I love you too."

And she says take me farther
Surround me now
And hold, hold, hold me like
Holy water
