A beautiful September day

All went to school

The weather was good

Temps a bit cool

He was there at he school

Just watching us all

No one thought

Of anyone to call

He appeared in the hall

And talked to a few

Oh if we only

Only we knew

What was he thinking

And what went wrong

The events that turned

Didn't take long

But we keep asking how

And especially  why

No one that day

Had to die

The outsiders react

With tears and shock

Everyone , everywhere

All they did was talk

Shaking my head

At first I got mad

Then I cried

Got real sad

No answers have we

We'll not ever know

Why a 16 year old girl

Just had to go

I sit and I think

And yes I still cry

Praying to God

Asking what went wrong and why
