Shattered Heart
Denise
My heart
has been shattered
into a million tiny pieces,
all that is left is an empty shell.
They succeeded in breaking it,
but still they are not satisfied.
When will they realize,
I have nothing left to give.
They have drained me,
both physically and mentally,
yet still their torture continues.
What will it take to end their torture?
When the blood is drained from my body,
and the embalming fluid is put into my veins,
will they then be satisfied.
