I Don't Understand

I look to the sky
And I ask God why
Did all of these children
Just have to die
Randomly picked
And no one is sure
And God I ask you
What is the cure
I pray every night
And I try to lend a hand
But God I don't get it
I don't understand
I have years of experience
And have seen a lot of strange things
But lately I've seen
Too many small angel wings
You must have a plan
To know what's in store
But God please protect us
I want killing no more
I feel so empty
Please lend me a hand
As I ask you God to explain
I don't understand
Just be with these people
And their kin and their clan
Try to help them oh Lord
Help them understand

in Our Schools.
These children
were
brutally executed .
This is
Not a Topic
Many of us
would like to discuss
Nor explore,
because
To Understand
this Unexplainable,
Vicious
and
Insane Act
Committed against
Innocents
is beyond
Comprehension
for many of us.
BUT
It is happening.
These Children
are
Our Children.
Help Stop this Travesty.
We Must Search
For a way
To Help Protect
Our
Most Precious
of Gifts.
Our Children.
