The
thorns of life
have left their mark upon her heart.
Her petals are weak and bruised,
but she continues to bloom.
She has survived all kinds of weather,
been bent, but never broken.
Her beauty has faded along with the years,
but the sweet fragrance
emitted from her heart,
will always remain.
