Welcome to my ya-ya's spot on the internet. "Ya-Ya" is the pet name that I gave my baby girl when she decided to start calling me "Ya-Yee".
"Ya-Ya" is the most intelligent, beautiful, and precocious little girl I have yet to meet, (and only 50% of that is based on parental bias.) She amazes me daily, not only based upon her intellect, and thirst for learning, but also, with the caring nature that she displays. At 4, I am proud to say that my daughter is reading, and sounding out any words she comes across. She is able to do simple addition, and is very articulate.
"Ya-Ya" loves playing with her classmates, enjoys being the "teacher's helper" in assisting other students to learn their colors, alphabet, etc. She enjoys reading, and loves to be mommy's little helper. I hope that you enjoy browsing this little spot dedicated to my "Ya-Ya".

4 Year Review
Where to start. 1999 was fairly uneventful. I was too little to do much other than sleep and suck on my fingers. Almost my entire first year of life, I spent living with my mother and grandfather. At about 8 months old, I began to get my legs and started to step out into the world.
When I was about 9 months old, "Ya-Yee" (mom for those that missed it) bought herself a townhouse. This was a pretty good move, I was able to live closer to my grandmother and father, and mom was on her own. I began speaking around 1 year, and was potty trained by 18 months. By 2 I had learned my alphabet, and mom started teaching me small site words around 3.
Now that I am four years old, I am a reading machine, okay well maybe that's an exageration. Mommy is working with me on recognizing silent "e's" at the end of words, but I am able to sound out most simple words using short vowel sounds. The past 4 years have been a bit of a blur for me, but that's the high level over view.

Mommy And Me
My mommy is my best friend, I call her "Ya-Yee". She can be kind of mean sometimes, but I know that she loves me. Me and my mommy like to eat at Red Robin for dinner. We're planning a trip this spring to the beach. Mommy says that she just needs some time away with her "Ya-Ya".
Mommy can be kind of tough sometimes. She is always correcting the way I say things, she says she wants to make sure I learn how to enunciate, and pronounce my words correctly while I'm young, and that when I'm older and understand more, then I can talk "cool" with my friends.
She's done a pretty good job so far I think. She's lucky, I know everything all by myself, so she doesn't have to teach me anything. Sometimes I will ask her questions, but I'm just trying to make sure that she remembers the answers, because, I already know everything myself.

Playtime
I love to play. In fact, there are few things I'd rather do than play. "Ya-yee" calls me her little mexican jumping bean. Now I'm not mexican, and I don't know what a jumping bean is, but I just giggle because it sounds hilarious.
When I was two "Ya-Yee" put me in gymnastics, because she said that if I was going to jump all over the place, she'd rather I do it in a place with padded mats and trained professionals to watch me. I go every week with my cousin, and we have lots of friends there.
Here's a video clip of me in the gym.
After Gymnastics classes, it's time for me to change and get ready for ballet. I have kind of a love hate thing going on with Ballet right now. One week I love it, the next week I dont. But "Ya-Yee" says that since I asked to take dance classes I have to finish out the lessons and can quit after the recital which is in June.
