This is a continuing work in progress. Please check back often as it is being built and check out how it's coming.
Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services was founded in 1979 when it separated from Hope Fire Co. in Philipsburg. Today MVEMS is located across the street from Hope Fire Co. and both work well together to serve the community.
MVEMS has three transport ambulances and one Medic intercept truck. Future plans call for adding a fourth transport unit to the fleet. Stay tuned for photos of the older trucks that have gone down the road.
MVEMS is currently in the middle of its membership drive. A membership costs $40 and is good from April 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008. Cards have been mailed out. If you did not get one, call the station during business hours (Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) at 814-342-3292 or stop by the station at 14 W. Locust Street, Philipsburg, PA during the same hours.
