Web Hosting Technical Support Representative; Earthlink/Mindspring/Netcom, San Jose, CA: As a web hosting technical representative my duties included assisting business customers with setting up their domain web hosting accounts and trouble-shooting any problems with their web sites or e-mail.  This included assistance with set up and transfers of domain names, DNS editing, FTP, web security/certificates, web statistics, publishing with Microsoft Front Page, HTML editing, e-mail forms, CGI scripts, configuring/trouble-shooting e-mail, web file management and search engines.  Also assisted customers with web counters, RealAudio, password protection, htaccess files, Cybercash and E-Commerce applications such as Softcart and Intershop.  Platforms included Macintosh, Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98/2000/NT and UNIX.

Customer Service Representative:  My duties included aiding supervisors in escalated issues, assisting on-site trainers with training of new representatives, resolving escalations from other representatives, walking customers through DUN settings and configuration of e-mail clients for dial-up pop accounts, and billing account maintenance.
