Oldest of Eight Children Attorney at Law I live in Rochester ON and off since 1981 Fall. I have 3 children and 1 stepson born here & Other children born in CA, NY City & I have had 4 grandchildren born in NY City area and Florida since I started practicing law here. I spent the entire summer of 1985 in the Times Square Building working on an assigned kidnaping case, Richard W. Williams. He was eventually freed by Second Dept. of Appellate Division of Supreme Court because of ADA McCarty's (now a Judge) use of peremptory challenges to exclude blacks from jury in Nassau County [Mineola}. I testified about jury selection transcripts being lost in a fire. I tried four homicides in New York area and had a no bill on a Homicide after requesting an instruction that the dead wife was a falling down drunk, NY County. She had died of blunt force head trauma. I won many cases with juries and non-jury. These were not free breaks or bribes, just blood, sweat and tears the old fashioned way of FINDING THE WINNING EDGE. I tried many Family Court cases in Brooklyn and Manhattan before specializing in Criminal Defense Trials. Paternity, Abuse, Neglect, Juvenile Felonies, Attempted Homicide. I associated with many attorneys who sent me cases to develop, though my jobs have been less than a handfull. I even had a case from a notorious Hunt & Fish Club, a Jewish gentleman with a Russian girlfriend. Many black and Hispanic clients including those assigned to me in NYC & Rochester BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND SOME SPANISH. My moonlight jobs have been many since I kept having children, including a few years ago winning a Monroe County Family court custody case while working 40 hours weekly/nights at a gas station; also I hefted cases of frozen food into the freezers of Sam's Club. After I received a carpel tunnel syndrome I did not sue; I do not like pansies. When younger I worked in many hotels at Front Desk. As a youngster in Law I worked for several top law firms in Tucson Az and New York City and some smaller law firms. I learned some commercial leasing at the largest private shopping center and mall developer in USA. I did maintenance for them in 1966 before malls were built. I can still look a jury in the eye and level with them.
