Violence In The Media

This site has been made by students in order to look at violence in the media. This site will look at how the media explores the topic of violence. We will look at different forms of media to see how each one gives us different information about violence. Violence in the media is something that affects all of our lives in some way whether we recognize it or not. It may be in a large way or in some small unnoticeable one. No matter what we are viewing; television, movies, magazines, or even the internet, we will be touched by violence in some way. Our job as the consumers of media information is to think about what we are witnessing and decide how we want to respond to it. The people who decide what is to be in the media only put what we as consumers show them we want to see. Media is becoming more violent for every generation that goes by and the only way for us to stop the violence is to speak out against it.
