I haven't updated this website since the beggining of the year. But about a month ago I bought a book called Sam's Teach Yourself C++ in 24 Hours. This book is awsome went throught the first couple chapters easily because these were things I have gone over already with other books. The I got up to the 7th our were the book tought me about class. It was slow going at first but then I got into it, and went through that chapter and the next one (which was about more classes) with ease. Now I'm on the 9th chapter which is about pointers with the first few paragraph it explained how to use pointers. The way they explained it I didn't see any point in pointers. Then it explained what pointers are for, in this chapter it was specifical about allocating memory from the heap. After that thing became clear about only part of what I would use pointers for.
Ultimatly I do want to want to get to the point of making my own games. So after learning C++ I'll play around with the language making text based programs, because I won't know anything about doing graphics at tge end. The school year is almost over and this is my last summer before college, so I certenly won't be waisting any time with my studies.

I know that I don't update alot on this website, and I'm not sure if anyone actually comes to this site but I do want to put some very good news on my website. I got accepted to Wentworth Institute of Technology about 2 days ago. I am really happy because this is the school that I wanted to get into. I haven't been updating because I have been doing alot of school work and getting lots of college stuff done. I have been reading and studying my C++ books so hopefully one day I can update on all the stuff I have been learning.

It is election day and I hope that you all ( who are old enough) have gone out and voted. I'm not old enough yet but I still think it is important for people to vote. Okay, now on to othe stuff, I have change the site layout once more. I was desighn by addict as you can see at the bottom of the page. I don't update often but when I do I want to show what I have done so far or what I am doing.
I have change the book that I am learning from the, it 's called C++ Primer. This books goes into to detail more about the different parts of the C++ language I am still using my other book though as a supplement. I did write a practice program to day that wasn't an assignment from either of the books. It is a Price Model program it calculates different things that you would have to consider when choosing a price for a product you can see more details in the game section under other.

I haven't updated this site in a really long time, as you can see from the dates. But this doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything. I've been able to do little learning of C++ during the school year, especially because it was Junior year and teachers get a little work crazy in my school. Anyway the summer has begun and while I don't have a job I will be working hard to learn some more C++. This is why I've added a new video section, there you can see shorts of the stuff that I've done. It's all text base stuff for now but hopefully if I'm not to busy doing other stuff I will be able to finish my book this summer and start on a little text base adventure which I will post for download on this site. So check out the video section.

I was just thinking that ever since I started this website I have not put any games on it. I have two game that I started when I was using Game Maker, which is a good piece of software that anybody looking to make some simple games can use. After three weeks of going through tutorial on the website and on the inter net I thought I would make my own game. One of them was called Desktop Mario. Many people in the Game Maker community like the idea but since I was new to Game Maker I didn't know how to let the player play on their own desktop. The other game I made I was trying to be original. I turns out that I some how picked the name of another well known game at the community. I still made it any way. I did the graphics, when I look at the now they don't look all that good. I'm not exactly the best pixel artist in the world but I am sure that I can do better than that. I am disappointed at the music I chose it has nothing to do with the game, although it never had a story. There was only one level and it's a little short.
