{November, '06} [The scene opens up to a big flash. As the picture clears up we then see the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In the lower 9th Ward of New Orleans houses that use have happy families living there are now nothing. The streets where young kids use to play and have fun are now deserted. As the camera pans over to the left we then see a African American man standing there with his left hand over his face. As he shakes his head he then takes off his fitted New Orleans Saints cap. He looks to the camera and begins to talk.]
(CHUCKLES) American dream.... That shit comes with a price.. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? That's the old saying, and that is the motto that I by to this day. (PAUSES) Look at this shit here..
Before the storm hit us bad I was up in New York taking care of business with my nigga O-Dizzle. Trying to get a few keys of coke to flip down here and get that money. After I heard about the storm, I had to call my family but there was no answer.. I had to call my old friends but nobody answered.. To this day I don't know where they are.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.. All that I do from here isn't just for me.. It's for the whole New Orleans.. They didn't do shit for us, but we have to do it for each other and ourselves.
I really don't know what else I can besides hustle..
{March, '07} [Queens, New York. Home of "James Christopher Stubz's School for Wrestling". Inside you can hear the bodies being slammed on mats, you also hear the locals cheering each other on, and lastly you can hear the deep raspy voice of a local legend.]
J.C.: C'mon man we've been doing this shit for like 30 minutes now!
Stubz: I dont' give a fuck if we've been doing this shit since Christmas!! If you don't know the basics then you're not going to make it! And that goes for all y'all.....
J.C.: I'm tryin' to man.. But I feel that I mastered this shit though.. I'm tryin' to move on to some more difficult challenges.
Stubz: Oh so you think you're shit now!?! You think you can wrestle now 'cause you've mastered a suplex?! Kid you haven't learned the half of it!
J.C.: I feel like I'm ready!
Stubz: You may think you're ready.. But you're not.. Not yet.
{April, '07} [The scene then opens back up to have J.C. standing at a graveyard. As he looks upon a tombstone it reads: "R.I.P. JAMES CHRISTOPHER STUBZ 1947-2007" . As J.C. continues to look at the tombstone he then gets down on one knee, places his right hand on top of the tombstone, closes his eyes and begins to talk.]
Everything you taught me was a blessing and I thank you for that. Wrestling and street fighting is all I know now. I won't dissappoint you Stubz, you have my word on that. I promise to carry on your legacy through my wrestling.
