As Hierophant Zildrax passes through the Overthere, he notices something amiss about the Iksar statue. Could it be... grafitti? :) He stops to take a closer look, only to hear a familiar voice behind him...



Cora says, 'Do you like what I've done, Hierophant?! Har har!'

Zildrax sighs, clearly disappointed.

Cora snickers softly at Zildrax.

Cora says, 'I thought you would be most impressed, yes yes!'

Zildrax says, 'Does the notion of gracefully accepting defeat ever occur to you creatures?'

Zildrax bares his teeth in a terrible snarl.

Cora raises an eyebrow at Zildrax.

Cora says, 'Goblins know not defeat! Only... temporary setbacks.'

Cora grins evilly.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Impressed? Bah...this is pathetic!! I did not think even your wretched people would stoop so low.'

Cora smirks.

Cora says, 'You are most fortunate, Zildrax... You went to the Citadel, and harmed my friends... And what do I do? I come here and "fix up" your peoples' statue!'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'That's right, I did. And you are responsible for their injuries and deaths.'

Cora says, 'Now, show me some gratitude, won't you? *sneers*'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'I gave you a choice awhile ago.'

Cora turns an icy glare upon Zildrax.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'And you chose to sell out your peoples lives. Remember?'

Cora says, 'That was not a choice.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'It was indeed. I said leave Cabilis, or you would regret it, and all that happened would be on your head.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'You said you would not leave Cabilis.'

Cora snarls meanly at Zildrax.

Cora says, 'You should have minded your own business, fool.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'It's your fault they were injured, had you listened to my warning, I would not have gone there.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'It WAS my buisness.'

Cora says, 'Bah.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'The welfare of MY city is my business.'

Zildrax points at Cora. Yeah you!

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'You are the one who caused them harm. I merely carried out exactly what I told you I'd do.'

Cora says, 'Take your quarrels to me, Zildrax. Not to my friends.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'I did, but that obviously didn't give you enough incentive to leave. And considering your presence endangers ALL of my people... Not just myself...'

Cora says, 'You have angered not only the goblins of Kunark, but the goblins of Antonica as well.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'If it keeps you out of Cabilis, I'll gladly anger all of them and their gods. I'll not let my people be spied upon.'

Cora spits at Zildrax.

Cora says, 'Do not dare speak of our gods, Iksar.'

Zildrax emotionlessly wipes the spit from his face.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'I have no interest in speaking of whatever it is you worship. But you should realize somthing, goblin.'

Cora raises an eyeridge at Zildrax.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'When you are waging a war, you are not just responsible for your own actions. But also that of all those who are your allies.'

Cora sneers.

Cora says, 'I be wagin' no wars.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'If you didn't want me to harm those goblins, then you should not have associated with them.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'You help the goblins fight against Cabilis. You are waging a war. Help them, and you're an enemy of us.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'That is why I attacked your people. We don't tolerate being spied on, and we'll do whatever we have to to protect our city.'

Cora says, 'I have watched my people die at the hands of the Crusaders... if paying them back for that makes a war, then I will gladly lead it.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'And goblins have never killed Iksar? You make it sound like you're all just helpless victims.'

Cora snickers.

Cora says, 'Ooh, we have killed many Iksar. The soothsayers of me tribe have many stories about it! Perhaps you'd like to hear some!'

Cora cackles gleefully.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'As I said...then you're waging a war. If you want to fight against the Iksar, then be prepared and realize that it's not just YOUR life you're risking.'

Cora snorts.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'YOU are responsible for the rest of your "tribe", much the same way it is my responsbility to protect my people. I don't make reckless decisions that will endanger my people for little purpose, as you choose to do.'

Cora says, 'And such a *wonderful* job you be doin' of it, too.'

Cora says, 'My decisions be not reckless.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'I do a fine job of protecting my people, not that you'd understand such a notion.'

You turn an icy glare upon Zildrax.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'You don't seem to care about yours much.'

Cora says, 'There is nothing I care for more than my tribe.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Then take responsbility for them, goblin.'

Cora snarls meanly at Zildrax.

Cora says, 'I will take responsibility for them NOW.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Don't claim that I'm just attacking your people out of spite. You know exactly why I attacked them. And you know you're responsible for it...that's why you do this.'

Zildrax points to the grafitti.

Cora says, 'Yes, yes, you attack them because you are an arrogant fool.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Is that what you believe? You couldn't be farther from the truth. But if you wish to paint me that way, go ahead. It's not unlike such a lesser beast as a goblin to think that.'

You snarl meanly at Zildrax.

Zildrax pulls out a cloth.

Zildrax starts wiping the grafitti off.

Cora says, 'Coming from one who believes all other races are lesser, I am not very angered.'

Cora grabs the cloth from Zildrax's hands.

Zildrax snarls meanly at Cora.

Cora stomps the cloth into the dirt.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'I will not let you defile the statues that honor our heroes and people, goblin..'

Cora scratches words into the statue with her claws.

Cora says, 'You know, this statue would be an excellent grave marker for a brave defender of Cabilis! Hmmmm...'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'You seem quite full of hate for my people.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Pathetic...'

Cora says, 'As much hate as I have been shown by them. Even more, perhaps. Yes yes.'

Cora snarls meanly at Zildrax.

Cora says, 'No, I did not hate you back then. Not that it matters now.'

Cora snorts.

Cora sighs at Zildrax.

Cora says, 'Weak, but angry, Zildrax. Very, very angry. And that gives me power.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Actually it subtracts your power. That's why you always lose to me.'

Cora chuckles at Zildrax.

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Anger is weakness. One we Iksar work to overcome, one your weak kind indulge...with all the hatred you feel, why not sing praises to Innoruuk? You'd make a splendid hateling.'

Cora says , 'There's that arrogance again, Zildrax.'

Cora says, 'My lord be Brell Serilis, protector of the underfoot.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Then fight for him, and not for your own personal reasons! Or are you incapable of fighting for anything beyond placating your own emotions?'

Cora says, 'I fight for vengeance.'

Cora points at at Zildrax. Yeah you!

Cora says, 'My lord Brell sends me visions, but he does not command me who to fight.'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Well then, goblin...let's see if your capable of carrying out your "vengeance"...I'll show you your weakness, and why your kind are better off as slaves to mine.'

Cora snarls meanly at Zildrax.

Cora etches 'Cabilis bites!' into the stone.

Zildrax bares his teeth in a terrible snarl.

Cora says, 'Har har har!'

Cora says, 'You wouldn't know the first thing about goblin spirits. Our magicks are not like yours.'

Cora says, 'Har har... funny how you speak so much when you know so little.'

Cora smiles slowly.

Cora says, 'Desperate times, desperate measures, my dear Hierophant. Besides, I consider my "artwork" a vast improvement to this sorry statue!'

Zildrax says,in Lizardman, 'Indeed, a sign you've already accepted your people are doomed to defeat, so you resort to petty tricks merely to make our lives less pleasant.'

Cora says, 'Not tricks. No no no.'
