Thank you for visiting the South Side Free Riders home page. This website was formed in February 2006 after a couple of us rode with the Houston Free Riders Association! We encourage everyone to invite your friends to come out for a ride.
" We are a group to network family minded bikers together!" We are a riding association of friends. We do not have membership dues and we do not have an attendance requirement! We don't care what you ride, how often you can ride, what your religious affiliation is, what your ethnicity is or what your financial status is! All we ask of each other is that we enjoy ourselves when we ride! We ride on a regular basis averaging several rides per month! We ride in staggered formation style and use the following Hand Signals. We obey all road rules and laws! That would include driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol! We respect each riders ability to make mature decisions for themselves, their passenger and our group! Our rides vary from scenic long distance rides, to short rides around town that take us to local watering holes or restaurants. We frequently attend car and bike shows, charity rides and live music performances. We are a group that acknowledges equality amongst all members. We have no rank structure or leadership appointments. Each and every one of our members have the ability to plan rides, lead rides and propose destinations. We welcome and encourage all to:Live to Ride, Ride to Live O ur riding group follows this philosophy. We are a much smaller group! What we have become known for, so to say, is helping riders acclimate to riding in a group. We also have riders who prefer to ride in a smaller group setting. We just like to ride and hope you will come join us! South Side Free Riders RulesYOU MUST FOLLOW ALL THE RULES! See rules 1,2 & 3 Now that we have that out of the way! Feel free to check everything else out! |
