MORE THEN A MOMENT

My moment to remember
was the doll I had in arms.
She was kind of magic
and had so many charms.
Then I was a young girl
and the moment I recall .
Was when I graduated to boys
but still had my favorite doll .
I turned around again
and another moment in my head .
I was now a teen
and dating I did dread .
The time just passed so quickly
and then a moment filled with pride .
As I found my beloved
and became a bride .
Time just kept on moving
a moment , then another .
As I soon became
to two girls a loving mother .
And now I am in middle age
as my youngest took me by her side .
said,
"Mother dear I must tell you
I soon will be a bride".
For life is full of moments
too many to remember .
But in your life you have
from January to September .
