Below are several projects done in Pennridge High School Digital Design 2006 class

Description of the Project(s) and the Program Used
My Works
Adobe Photoshop was the first program that the students worked with for the simester. We took pictures using digital cameras, and then learned how to edit them in Photoshop. We were able to add textures, cut and paste parts of the photos, adjust brightness and contrast, and do a bunch of other effects with Photoshop's wide range of tools. My projects, found to the right, exhibit the many effects that can be incorporated with Photoshop. You will be seeing pattern placement, cutting and pasting of images, and other cool effects.

Flash provided a way for the students to animate and draw on the computer. The class learned some of the important techniques of Flash, which included drawing techniques, creation of timelines and motion tweens. The project here is a simple online greeting card for the Fourth of July. The project demonstrates the animation capabilities of flash, and some of the effects, such as the explosion effect that he firework exhibits.

Our last program that we worked with was iMovie. The students were able to capture their own movies on digital camcorders, then we transferred them to the computers. We learned techniques on movie editing, including cropping of scenes, adding music, credits, titles, and adjusting sound levels and contrast. The first movie is a small tour of the crafts room, created by myself and a few other students. The second is a wacky movie of mine that revolved around a boy who loses touch with reality and believes himself to be a part of his favorite video game.
