My world is filled

with silent screams these days,

the pain I feel over losing you,

 blazes inside me

like a raging inferno.

I try to keep the pain hidden

deep down inside of me,

so the world cannot see.

But, I cannot deny,

 no matter how hard I may try,

 that going from we,

to me,

 is much harder

than I thought it would be.

Your love guided me

through all of my days,

 on the mountain,

 or in the valleys,

you were always there for me.

Can you hear me Mom?

 I am screaming out your name,

my screams are echoing

 deep inside my heart,

 forever, you will be a part of me.
