Here without you,

is not where I want to be.

All I can see is what use to be,

home is not the same,

 without you here.

Everywhere I look,

I see your face,

and the sound of your voice,

continues to echo in my head.

Your in my dreams,

every night it seems.

I wake myself up,

screaming out your name.

With you gone,

 I have become very withdrawn.

Life does not make much sense these days,

since you went away.

People say they understand how I feel,

 and that in time, my heart will heal.

Don't they understand, right now,

 I have no concept of time?

Daytime?

Nighttime?

They all run together.

 But, one thing I do know,

 this daughter,

 will miss her mother,

forever.
