Halloween Eve

Halloween Eve, most dreaded direful night
Provokes evil spirits to witch coven delight.
Thirteen heinous hags chant curses and spells
Conjuring up zombie spirits and demons from Hell.

The orange Halloween Moon streaks blood red
Whilst abominable apparitions float overhead,
The valley of the graves surrender vile dead
As murderous mayhem rages, in orders stead.

Villagers scurry and hurry inside before the hour
While brazen banshee's scream of perilous power.
Ghostly ghouls hunting, haunt pumpkin patches
As fearfully frightened folks bolt door latches.

The power of the coven at midnight number
Unleashes dark devils from year long slumber,
Rising up from a caldron born of smoke and fire
They soar over rooftops raining havoc most dire.

Scarecrows and haystacks scattered by foul wind
That wafts werewolf howls, their warning to send.
Stay well clear the countryside this time of year
Witching seasons beginning, Halloween Eve is here.
