York Show: 2006

This year I showed 5 chins, here they are below with comments on thier placings:

Sassafrass recieved a 1st place. The judge commented that her size was good, and she looked really good on the top. Her belly didn't look quite as good, he said:

This is the Sapphire Boy who was up for sale and sold a couple weeks ago. He recieved a second, his comments were that his color "absolutely shined" and that his color was better than the 1A animal; however, he was small for his age :( Hopefully, he'll put on a bit of size as he gets older, he was 5 months and 1 week old at the show :)

This is ShellB, she also recieved a 2nd place. Her comments were that she had a priming line in the middle of her back, that held her back from a 1st place.

This is the Black Velvet Baby that was born beginning of March. I threw him into the show because for a "Young Breeder", that is with less than 5 years of experience, could win an award with a minimum of 5 Chins with a good average. I had four, and he was my fifth. Dave basically said he was too young to evaluate, but he did get a 3rd place :) I'll be keeping him, and showing him at a later date.

This little Standard Boy took Reserve Champion Male of show, and was bred by Ange of RAF Chins. His comments were, "perfect prime, could be better in neck and size, nice clear belly". Which is actually perfect for Sassafrass and her comments, it compliments her well.

This is a White Mosaic I got from Jan Ryerson. She wasn't shown that day because she had gotten her tail area/butt in her pee, and had stained her coat a bit :( She is out of Jans biiig whites, and I had Dave look at her afterwards and he told me her color was right on and her fur was nice and thick.

White Ebony from Whitewoods. She's real young, only 4 months old. I love her little black mark under her right chin:

Standard Female from Whitewoods. Another younger standard from Dave, she has Dave lines and Hykes lines in her:

And my last chin from the show, a second Standard Female, again from Dave Woods (Whitewoods):
