I apologize for not being consistant in updating the website, and if I haven't replied to some emails. Between a new work and school schedule in addition to a new laptop to switch over all of my email programs, I have been busy! I have 4 kits ranging between 2-5 weeks right now, and will have thier pictures up shortly on the for sale page. I will be much more promt on replies to emails from now on, again I apologize for the deleys.

The "For Sale" page has been updated, take a look :) Big Mommas kits have been doing well with Foster Mom Hailey, she's taken to them as her own. We miss you Big Momma!

June 26, 2006 -
Big Momma had kits June 19th, and she died June 22nd due to complications from the kits. Big Momma will be greatly missed, we love you Big Momma :(

I do have a Sapphire Kit available, he'll be weaned the last week of June. He's up on the 'For Sale' page now. Still waiting on Violets/Violet Wraps, and some Standards/Beiges, which should be soon!

Nikkis standard is sold, I ended up coming home with some BEAUTIFUL chins from the York show yesterday. I showed 5 chins I bred, and recieved 2 1st places, both standards, 2 2nd places, a Sapphire and a Beige, and one 3rd, for a baby black velvet. The Standard Female is back up for sale. She was weaned Sunday and will be ready to go home this weekend (the 19th). I had a Het. Eb SC male born the 24th, who I'll most likely be keeping. Snowflake, Nikki and Shania are all due soon, so keep checking back!

PinkWhite brother B is On Hold, PinkWhite brother A and the Beige Male as well as the Standard Female are Sale Pending. At this time I only have the Sapphire Male available. I also had a Het. Ebony SC male born yesterday, he may end up being available, but I may keep him.

I began doing some FrontPage for this site, so it should be fully redesigned soon! Also this week my first babies of the year, S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5 were born from 3 different mommies! A standard, two PinkWhites, a Beige and a Black Velvet. I'll have some pictures in the upcoming weeks, if you're interested in holding one send me an email.

ChinCastle is run by me, Justin Wheeler, a private hobby breeder of Chinchillas in Ellicott City, Maryland. I am close to both Baltimore and Washington. Currently, I have a small herd of over 35 ChinChillas. I have five pet only chins, who are retired breeders or non-breeders.
