VIRTUAL REALITY PANORAMIC IMAGING

In this assignment we were to create a panoramic image. This was done by taking a series of pictures with a digital camera. The camera that I used was the Canon A50 and tripod. The panoramic image was to be created using, if possible, less than 15 pictures. Once we had the pictures taken we loaded them onto the computer. After the pictures were loaded onto the computer a program was used called Smokey City Design Panoramic Factory. Using this program the pictures were then uploaded again. By selecting certain options the program would take all of your images and put them together to create a virtual image that is 360 degrees. This program takes all of your other images and puts them together so that they are seamless. This is my first time using this program so yes; there are a few errors.

Panoramic imaging is a virtual tour of 360 degrees of any place indoors or out. All you need is the technology and you can show anybody on the Internet your 360 degrees. There are multiple uses for panoramic imagining. Panoramic imaging is mostly used for tours of places. This idea is commonly found on the Internet to show case houses that are for sale. This way you never have to leave your own house to look at other houses that you may be interested in buying. Panoramic imaging is not just limited to people trying to sell a house. You could basically use panoramic imaging for showing anybody any 360 degrees of any place.
