Exposure: definition: Revelation, especially of crime or guilt

Well, I should start by saying that I am, in fact, against this war. No....I am not some left wing liberal Clinton lover who is burning flags right now. In fact, I am not even American. But, I do have the right to speak my mind, and state my opinion. I think that by not being American, I have a much more un-biased view of what is actually happening.

Being Canadian, I am provided with a much more open view of the situation through our media channels. CNN and other US based media giants provide one slanted view...and Al-Jazeera (Arab) provides another. What is reported on in the American media is completely controlled by the US army, so thinking that you are getting the full picture from the embedded soldiers is hogwash.

Only time will effectively prove what is right and what is wrongly assumed about this war. Personally, I cringe at anyone who believes that this is about freeing the oppressed Iraqi people. This war is about oil, oil lines, power, control, profit and Israel. This war is about the value of the dollar compared to that of the Euro.

The Bulletin Boards of AOL (under the "War Against Iraq" headlines) is both a frustrating and enlightening place to read opinions about this war. As it turns out, most of the user of the AOL service are American (surprise surprise) and the battles that have ensued on these boards about this war can be phenomenal.
