About the founder. Originally from Livermore, CA. started the Country Girl Horse Sales & rescues in the Murrieta, Temecula, California area while my husband was stationed at Camp Pendleton. He is now retired from the Marine Corps. I have been around horses all of my life, I have learned to respect and love them from a young age. I have been training horses and working with them and other rescues for 11 years now. Anyone is welcome to come out to the facility at anytime. We have just moved into this facility and are making renovations, please mind the mess! Pictures to come soon! I rely on the help from my husband, family, friends and volunteers to help save, rehabilitate and rehome as many horses in need as possible.
