I am originally from Salmon Arm,(Beautiful) British Columbia,Canada(and darn proud to be Canadian)...I was brought up on a farm on top of a hillside( no I'm not a hillbillie haha.... but a country girl at heart...:-) My Dad's farm over looked beautiful Shuswap Lake....and let me tell you, was quite the view! So naturally coming from British Columbia I love the mountains and really miss all the lakes! I moved to Alberta when I was 17 yrs old, and here I sit some 20 yrs later ( pssst..hope your math skills aren't up to par..hehe)
I enjoy lots of different kinds of music...blues, jazz, soul, soft rock, the oldies, and of course country. I love animals, playing the stock market, poetry, dancing, romantic evenings out, or by the fireplace with a nice glass of wine .I enjoy, biking, hiking, fishing, nice walks in the country, horseback riding, watching sunsets, and sunrises,and love a good thunder storm. I am very open minded, and have no problem ' speaken my mind' ( not always a good thing, but is just me). I can be very stubborn also which is not always a bad thing. I am a hopeless romantic and love being in love. For all you other 'hopeless' romantics out there you may like this poem I came across one day...:-) Just Dreaming
.I love good conversation and long lasting friendships. I love humour and love to laugh, and I enjoy people who I can laugh with. Honesty and sincerity are very important to me also. If a person can't be honest and up front with me then I won't waste my time......I don't like dishonesty at all...it can hurt feelings and bring pain. I try to find good in everyone...and will go out of my way to help a person in need, within reason....When I meet a person, I want to know the "real you" , I dislike "fake" people. Show me what's inside of you...what kind of a person you really are .

I define a friend as someone you can laugh with, cry with and share those deep inner feelings.
A friend is someone who is there to lend you their strength when you feel you don't have enough of your own......give their advise when you ask for it, and are honest about what they really think, not just what they think you want to hear...
or just sit and listen to you when you need to be heard......A strong shoulder to cry on, and the push you need to stand up and face the world again after you have felt yours had come crashing down. Stands beside you in your most troubled times and doesn't 'give up' on you! A friend is someone who does all this for you, never asking or expecting anything in return but your friendship........ With out friends the world would be a very empty place, and would leave a void in your heart......... "A friend is someone who knows all about you, but still loves you"....
A Friend is someone who reaches for your hand, but grabs ahold of your Heart... This page is dedicated to all my wonderful friends that I have met "online" and have shared with me their friendship that I will always treasure..... Take time to enjoy the friendships that you develope in your life, and enjoy life to the fullest, never take things forgranted ... even the smallest things. Everything happens for a reason. Try to live each day like it could be your last..life is just too short ...so slow down and enjoy!:-). I hope that you have enjoyed my page as much as I've enjoyed making it. I know it's not much but it's fun to 'tinker' around with when I'm bored :-)...not to say that it wasn't down right frustrating at times..lol
