requests seriously! Our intercessors around the world are standing by, ready to bring you
and your requests before the Throne of God. The "Prayer Net" was born
from a desire to answer the call of God in Ezekial Chapter Twenty-two. "And I sought
for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for
the land, that I should not destroy it but I found none." (Ez. 22:30 KJV) As an intercessor, one stands before God on behalf of others. The intercessor has a twofold position. 1. To link the mercy of God with the
person in need. 2. To stand guard, and by prayer, help
repair the broken relationship between God and the person. Great battles have been won,
and lives have been changed though intercession. Intercession involves bearing one
another's burdens. The word "bear" means, to lift with the idea of removing. Our
intercessors take their call seriously, and as we pray for one another so that these
burdens can be lifted, each one of us can go on to become the person Christ is calling us
to be. As we go before the Father, boldly,
covered by the Blood of Jesus, let us be assured that as the Father loves His Son Jesus,
He loves us. Picture yourself going before the Father, with Jesus in front of you, and
covering you, so when you pray, the Father does not see you, but sees Jesus! Jesus,
knowing every temptation, every suffering, presents your case to the Father, who is ready
to give grace and mercy. Because you have accepted Jesus, you have become a child of God;
you have become a joint-heir with Jesus Christ. Every promise that is written in God's
Word is for you. God invites us to come to Him in prayer
and ask for whatever we need. Jeremiah 33:3 tells us, "Call unto Me, and I will
answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
