WELCOME TO TRAILS END ACRES!!

We have been in the ranching and quarter horse business all of our lives. Our family has always loved horses. Along with enjoying our horses, we have always used them in our daily ranching operation. Therefore, our horses must be a "using" horse along with being a pleasure to ride. Not only do they have to "look good", the most important qualities needed are conformation, good strong legs and feet, intelligence, willingness to work, gentle, and "people friendly".

We have always raised colts, broke them to ride, and used them in our cattle operation. Eight years ago, we purchased our stallion, Docs Smart Jack, better known at our house as Razzi. We have had seven colt crops from him. The colts seem to have inherited all of the traits we require. All of our horses and colts are "foundation bred" and most are registered in the Foundation Quarter Horse Registry.

We moved in March, 2003 from Lexington, Nebraska to our new home located approximately 8 miles north on Highway 281 from St. Paul, Nebraska. We are enjoying the beautiful hills and trees. We have decided that this will be home always, so we have a sign out by our driveway calling this "Trails End Acres".

We will be selling a few horses at the "Nebraska Hidden Horses Quarter Horse Sale" on October 1st, at the McDermott Sale Barn near Wellfleet. We have the horses we are selling in our "Horses For Sale" page of this web site. Be sure and check them out and come see us on October 1st.

The welcome mat is always out and coffee is always hot, we would love to have you stop in and see our new operation and enjoy our horses with us.
