Forgiveness brings healing. In Genesis 50-17-" Forgive your brothers the sins and wrongs they committed in treating you so badly,now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father." God gives us a very basic message right from the begining, "FORGIVENESS." ---All through God's word from Genesis to Revelation the message is "FORGIVENESS."==== Jesus came to forgive the sins of mankind. To show by example what Godly living is all about.--Matthew: 6 :12 : "Forgive us our debts as we also "HAVE" forgiven our debtors." -- We ask God for forgiveness for the wrongs we do, and we say in the Lord's prayer,"Forgive us" as we "HAVE" forgiven those who sinned against us.--We are telling the Lord that we "have" Forgiven the people who hurt us in life, just as we ask him to forgive us for the hurts that we also inflicted on others.======Forgiveness is supposed to be part of our new nature,which we inherited at the moment we were born again.==We became a new creation, we are supposed to be different and yet so many born again children of God "refuse to forgive" someone who wronged them.Many are not even aware that because of their unforgivness they are creating a block to recieving something from God,= like their healing when ill------Matthew :6 :15 : Your heavenly father will forgive you, "IF" you forgive those who sin against you:but if you "refuse" to forgive them,He will "not" forgive you."====Let's face some facts here!==== God is very serious in reguard to forgiveness, he sent his son to die in your place and mine so that our sins faults and failings could be forgiven freely.And as children of God he expects the same from us no matter what the other person done;These are not my words but God's own words.===Matthew ; 7 : 2 : "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you."-----How can we come seeking healing from an all forgiving God and refuse to obey him in reguard to his word, So many Christians I know have stood on the word and died never recieving their healing that they stood on the word for,Some I know from having prayed with them, refused point blank to forgive even their own family members.Ignoring the basic principle of what being a Christian is all about.
