  • 300 grams of Dried Apricots
  • ¼ cup Almonds (Baadaam) (blanched and roasted)
  • 150 grams Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice (Nimbu Ka Arakh)
  • Water (as needed)
  • Fresh Cream or Ice Cream


  1. Wash apricots; soak in a pot of water for about 4 to 5 hours.
  2. De-seed apricots; chop and cook in a pot with lemon juice, sugar, and about 2 cups of water. Cook until apricots are well soft and pulpy and water and sugar has dissolved.
  3. Take off heat and transfer into a serving Dish.
  4. Garnish with almonds and serve hot or cold with cream or ice cream.
