  • 500 grams of Boneless Chicken
  • 1 can of Chick Peas - Garbanzo Beans (Safaid Cholay)
  • (Pre-cooked)
  • cup of Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. of Green Peppers (Hari Mirch) (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp. of Fresh Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhania) (chopped)
  • 1 Tomato (thinly sliced - for decorating) (optional)
  • 1 tsp. Dried Mango Powder (Aamchoor)
  • 1 tsp. Red Chilli Powder (Pisi Lal Mirch)
  • 1 tsp. Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 tsp. Lemon Juice (Nimbu Arakh)
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking Oil

  1. Clean and cut chicken into 1 inch cubes. Boil chicken pieces in salted boiling water for 1 minute. Drain excess water and cool chicken in refrigerator.
  2. In a large bowl mix chick peas/garbanzo beans, chopped onions, garam masala powder , dry mango powder, green chilies, red chilli powder, salt, coriander/cilantro, lemon juice, and oil with cooked chicken pieces.
  3. Arrange in a serving platter or bowl. Decorate with tomato slices.
